As a native of Montana, Trevon Baker, CPP, Ph. Craftsman, started out as a nature and wildlife photographer, but his career quickly went a different direction after the birth of his son over 20 years ago. He found that his patience and ability to put people at ease in front of the camera were strong attributes for a portrait photographer. Trevon embraced digital technology many years ago and uses the new tools it offers to ever expand his creativity. He started using the concept of projected backgrounds nearly 20 years ago and continues to enjoy the benefits of creating his own custom backgrounds, unique to his clients. Assisting both the Simones and Don Blair in their teachings for several years, Trevon ties the new technology with classic, timeless portrait methods.

Trevon has spoken across the United States and for the national convention of the Professional Photographers of Canada. He has also done speaking tours in Australia, New Zealand and recently to the PPK and KPA in South Korea. He has also instructed at PPA Affiliate Schools such as The Triangle Institute of Photography, The Golden Gate School, Intermountain PPA, and of course the Montana PPA. In April 2005, he was named "Photographer of the Year" by the Montana Professional Photographers Association.
