   Becoming a Digital DaVinci requires developing and nurturing 5 keys areas of your mind and business: Inspiration, Creativity, Style, Technique, & Presentation. Kevin Kubota has trained hundreds of photographers in the skills necessary to stay creative, hone an efficient digital workflow, create custom images in Photoshop within minutes, and present digital imagery with impact and emotional selling power. 

REQUIREMENTS:
    Digital SLR, media cards, computer with Photoshop 7 or newer and basic working knowledge of the program. Note: for efficiency and to keep up with the class projects, your computer should have at least 1 GB of RAM and 5 GB of free hard drive space. A portable, external hard drive for image storage is also recommended.

   This program will teach digital portrait and wedding photographers: 
1) Ideas to stimulate creativity and keep inspired for lifelong business success and happiness. 
2) Photographic tools and techniques that keep you out of the box and on the cutting edge. 
3) How to define yourself and your style so you stand out amongst the competition and draw exactly the clientele you really     want. 
4) The importance of capturing RAW, why it's better and faster than JPG, and how to do it right. A complete workflow system will     be explained and practiced in class. 
5) Creating the custom image in Photoshop that you see in your mind. Do it right, and in 3 minutes or less. 
6) Using Photoshop Actions to supercharge your daily imaging tasks. 
7) Creating beautiful and emotional slide shows, DVD's, and other ways to showcase your digital imagery.
 

   Kevin Kubota, of Kubota PhotoDesign Inc., has been photographing since 1980, and doing it professionally since 1990. He is a wedding and portrait photographer with images that speak to the heart - filled with emotion, joy, intimacy, and impact. His studio photographs high-end clients in his home base in Central Oregon, as well as nationwide.

   American Photo Magazine recently named Kevin “One of the Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World” (March 2007). His wedding and portrait work has been featured in magazines such as Rangefinder, Studio Photography & Design, Popular Photography, and Shutterbug, as well as in photography books such as, The Best of Portrait Photography and The Best of Wedding Photojournalism by Bill Hurter, and others. His images have been featured in Nikon advertisements, calendars, trade show displays, and he was selected as the Nikon “Legend Behind the Lens” #2 on the Nikon website.

   Kubota Image Tools grew from the digital experience of Kevin who began pioneering the field of completely digital wedding photography in the 1990s. As one of the first photographers to master digital imaging, Kevin became inspired to share his experience and natural teaching ability with other photographers. He has successfully trained thousands of photographers to make the digital transition and continuously empowers existing digital photographers with new, effective workflow ideas and outstanding Photoshop® techniques.

   Kevin founded the original Digital Photography Bootcamp™, which consistently sells out - and his single day programs fill the house at private engagements and national photographic conventions.
