Many events that have
taken place in years past have become traditions for the Workshops.
Monday evening has become
our "Dinner on the Town". Appetizers at The Breckenridge
Brewery, Dinner at Eric's Downstairs, or Bubba Gump's, and
dessert somewhere on Main Street. Last year ended up in an
impromptu location session with Don MacGregor and Doug Box.
They took a family up on the slope of a mountain and showed
us some great location ideas. Oh ya . . . we got caught in
a high country rain storm! Everyone had a great time!
On Tuesday morning, VERY
EARLY MORNING, anyone crazy enough to get up 5:00 AM, grab
their camera gear and meet Jeff in the Main Street Station
lobby, will be treated to an unbelievable sunrise somewhere
in the mountains. Then breakfast at the Columbine Cafe. So
far the weather has cooperated every year! A breathtaking experience.
Wednesday brings us our "Director's
Cookout" and "Class Skits". Our Director's put
up their clipboards and put on aprons and grill up a mountain
size meal for everyone. Then after dinner, each class puts
on a small skit "roasting"
their instructor. Many laughs!
